The biggest event of the year

Each month, the region's developers, brokers, owners, lenders, contractors, architects and attorneys trade the conference room for the course at the CREDA Northeast Florida Golf Tournament — one of the chapter's signature gatherings and one of the most productive days on the Northeast Florida commercial real estate calendar.

The appeal is simple: relationships move deals, and few settings build them faster than eighteen holes. Over a single round at various venues, members and guests make the introductions, referrals and partnerships that shape projects across the Greater Jacksonville market long after the last putt drops. It's competitive, relaxed and unmistakably good for business.

Behind that easy day out is months of work by the chapter's volunteer Golf Committee, and the event's polish comes directly from their planning. Sponsorship is the engine: the committee designs and sells a tiered program from presenting sponsor down to hole, beverage-cart and contest sponsorships. Recruiting partners, coordinating their signage and on-course visibility, and making sure every sponsor sees a clear return, with proceeds supporting the chapter's programming and mission. On venue, the committee selects and secures the course, negotiates rates and tee times, and builds in contingencies for weather and cart logistics so the day stays on schedule. Food and beverage is coordinated end to end with the club with morning check-in, on-course refreshments, and the closing reception. And the coordination tying it all together is considerable: player registration and team pairings, hole assignments, scoring and contest management, tee gifts, volunteer roles, a day-of run of show, and awards and follow-up. It's a lot of moving parts, delivered by members who give their time because a well-run tournament reflects the caliber of the chapter itself.
